Sunshine in flower form
Daffodils are hope. They make me giggle and laugh with delight that Old Man Winter’s last gasp of breath is imminent.
Hearing my UK mates despondent over howling winds and cold, bitter, icy snow has convinced me to bring them a wee bit of sunshine in flower form.
Being blessed with a moderate climate means spring arrives early. However, no pride or gloating is happening since the 90+f weather shall happen soon enough and one will long for the cool days of a London summer and bracing crispness of Blighty’s coast.
Until the winds cease howling, and snow stops its drifting one offers a bit of hope in a Daffodil. Hold tight, have hope, and watch and listen for signs of hardy little Daffodils whispering to you the promise of warm sunshine.
